Within the existing footprint, the historic interiors were opened up to bring in daylight and views of the exquisite gardens. The Kitchen, Dining Room, and Sun Room were combined into one, while the Foyer, Study, and Living Room were updated and interconnected. A new first floor bed/bath suite was created. Throughout, the historic character of the original house was respected, and extended into the more recent additions. The new palette of natural materials, mixed with nature-inspired tones; including cork floors, and textured glass lighting, all work together to bring the spaces into harmony with the garden.
